Debarshi is currently engaged in VMware cloud initiatives and is from middleware application background. He is passionate about different cloud technologies and deploying applications to the cloud. In his previous role he has worked in IBM RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and WebSphere Application Server technologies. He has presented on XML technologies which is the popular messaging standard for web applications and web services in IEEE conferences.

Abstract: 
Cloud Foundry is industry's first open “Platform as a Service” (PaaS) from VMware allowing easy deployment of applications written using Spring, Rails and other modern frameworks. Cloud Foundry breaks new ground in PaaS through supporting a choice of programming models; a choice of services from VMware and third parties; a choice of clouds for deployment; and being delivered in open source. This session will present Cloud Foundry and how easy it is to deploy applications in the cloud.
