Bish is with the Yahoo security group, where he leads the security efforts done out of their R&D center in Bangalore. Day in and out, he works with the engineers to develop secure and defensible apps. Of the remaining time, he focuses on strategic research on defensive coding and tactical pieces around how to make it work for a business without actually disrupting it. Prior to Yahoo, Bishan lead the application security practice at Security & Privacy division of IBM GBS India. In his early years he was with Sumeru where he lead the Application and Network Security.

Abstract: 
Secure web frontend is the first line of defense for any Web app. With live demonstration, during this talk we will build one that is defensive by design, yet easy and agile. The talk begins with focus on major vulnerabilities plaguing web frontends today, followed by root cause analysis and closing with highly adoptable realistic solutions. Additionally, we also look at new advancements in the Web frontend security space that are primed to enable frontend revolution more defensible.
