Jyothi Bacche heads the open source practice at MindTree - a group that provides solutions solely on open source based software to their customers. She has 19 years of experience in the software industry and comes with a wide range of technology expertise. She has been involved in various open source based software solutions including design and architecture, evaluation, certification, troubleshooting, proof of concepts, building expertise etc. She is also the moderator for the Bangalore JBoss user group (BJBUG) which is a group of 100 users with common interest in JBoss and related technologies. Prior to joining MindTree, Jyothi had a long stint of 8+ years at Circuit city Richmond VA being part of core enterprise architects group to manage all the server side/corporate applications and have played a major role in the design and implementation of these large scale enterprise systems. Jyothi has worked with Shaw systems Richmond VA, Circuit City at Richmond, VA and as a consultant at Hewlett Packard ISO, Bangalore – India. She started her software career as a product engineer at Integra Micro Systems Bangalore. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering from the University of Mysore.

Vartika Agarwal is a Senior Manager in Yahoo!'s Linux team. A strong believer in open source and its benefits, she has been a leading force in the company's move to Linux. After relocating from the US to India in 2010, Vartika is helping build the APAC chapter of Yahoo!'s Open Source Working Group to help identify opportunities for open sourcing while managing inherent risks. Vartika holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from State University of New York, USA, and is also the President of Women-In-Tech for Yahoo! Bangalore. Before joining Yahoo in 2007 she worked at Motorola's cellular phone division.

Sreekandh has been in the space of Free/Open Softwares for the last 10 years. In his day to day life he plays various hats as "Open Source Advisor", "Cloud Architect", "Technical Architect", "Technology Enabler", "Belief Officer", "Buidling Custom Linux Distribution", "Agile Coach", "Cyclist", "Photographer", etc … In the past he has worked at various layers of Linux or rather with many *nix flavors including BSDes. His specialization is around building "Linux Appliance". He has also contributed to couple of Open Source Projects and still keeps an active eye on contributing in terms of "Documentation", "HowTos", "Mentoring new people" in the Free/Open Source world. His favorite distribution till date is Gentoo and Ubuntu. While he is contributing to the any open source project he is available as "gnuyoga" in respective irc channels.
