Abstract: 
It is not a new story that modularity does make you source code much more readable, maintainable, and testable. With the release of Symfony2 the bookshelf of frameworks and component libraries got an outstanding new member. This talk is about how easy it is to build your own symfny2 module( aka bundle). Together we will setup and develop a bundle to import MS Excel files into your application to calculate and store the containing data. Further we will generate reports using the same bundle to write MS Excel files to the file system. Besides this we will find out how to test this bundle using the tools Symfony provides and PHP Unit as test runner.
