Jyothi Bacche heads the open source practice at MindTree - a group that provides solutions solely on open source based software to their customers. She has 19 years of experience in the software industry and comes with a wide range of technology expertise. She has been involved in various open source based software solutions including design and architecture, evaluation, certification, troubleshooting, proof of concepts, building expertise etc. She is also the moderator for the Bangalore JBoss user group (BJBUG) which is a group of 100 users with common interest in JBoss and related technologies. Prior to joining MindTree, Jyothi had a long stint of 8+ years at Circuit city Richmond VA being part of core enterprise architects group to manage all the server side/corporate applications and have played a major role in the design and implementation of these large scale enterprise systems. Jyothi has worked with Shaw systems Richmond VA, Circuit City at Richmond, VA and as a consultant at Hewlett Packard ISO, Bangalore – India. She started her software career as a product engineer at Integra Micro Systems Bangalore. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering from the University of Mysore.

Gil Yehuda is the Director of Open Source and Open Standards at Yahoo! Inc. where he manages the policies, processes, and relationships with organizations, foundations, and projects in the Open Source and Open Standards area. Prior to joining Yahoo!, Gil was a Senior Analyst at Forrester Research where he covered the Social-Enterprise marketplace and provided insight services related to information management, knowledge management, and collaboration on the intranet. Gil has a background in enterprise architecture, IT governance, and development technology from his many years working at Fidelity Investments. Rama has over 18 years of industry experience in the field of embedded systems software development for Enterprise Servers, Telecom / Datacom, Industrial Controls and Data Acquisition systems. Rama has rich experience in dealing with embedded product development, starting from Bhabha Atomic Research Center, Mumbai in early 90’s to MNCs in India and overseas (USA, Australia, and Singapore) such as Lucent, Motorola, Force Computers, Yokogawa etc. Rama’s open source interaction has started in 2001 when his SW team in Force Computers / Motorola was responsible for Linux Support Package (LSP) and Driver development for new blades and their bring up. In addition to product, program and people management, Rama has experience in setting up engineering / product development teams in India, supporting global cross functional teams such as Hardware Design, Manufacturing, Procurement, Marketing etc. and building relationships with partners and vendors. Rama is currently the Director for Firmware Group of Enterprise Systems Management at Dell India R&D and handles Out of Band (OOB) Management products of Dell Enterprise Servers. Rama holds M.Sc (TECH) from NIT, Warangal and Executive MBA from IIM-B.
