Abstract: 
Know how OSS has been used in a project of national importance where hundreds of terabytes of data is processed to issue millions of UIDs to residents. The talk covers how OSS has helped the project in a wide range of application needs including very critical ones. The talk also discusses motivation for using OSS in the project , challenges faced and decisions that went into choosing the relevant technology stack.
