Bio: Pavan Yara is a senior technical consultant at Eucalyptus Systems Inc, the leader in enterprise cloud computing and private cloud open source software. At Eucalyptus Systems, his responsibilities include developing the technological know-how and strategies for innovation based on cutting-edge cloud research, and helping India customer base on Eucalyptus cloud based architectures. In his previous role, chosen as the selected expert on cloud computing, Pavan helped Unique ID project (UIDAI/Aadhaar) with setting up of Central ID Data Repository (CIDR), involved in designing, implementation and optimization of "Big Data" analytics, bio-metric activities among many others. Before that, he was the research team lead for Cognizant Innovation Labs. He is a MS from IIT Madras, authored international research papers, and also a recipient of several awards and recognitions including a "Who's Who in Science and Engineering" for the year 2011-2012 by Marquis Online, USA. He is part of several cloud computing standard committees, various open source projects, and active contributor to cloudcamps.
